Christy Pierce serves as the Pre-K Director and Lead Teacher at ACC Academy. She and her husband, Jim, moved to Auburn two years ago from the Atlanta area and have enjoyed becoming part of the local community and Auburn Community Church.

Christy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, from the University of Georgia. She brings over 25 years of experience in both education and ministry. Her professional background includes roles as a lead teacher, assistant teacher, phonics tutor, and after-care director. She has taught and supported students from Pre-K through fourth grade at schools in both Georgia and Alabama. Her experience includes co-teaching phonics using Orton-Gillingham, Heggerty, Math in Focus, and implementing classroom management strategies.

In addition to her work in education, Christy has been deeply involved in ministry leadership. She served as an administrative assistant with Cup of Joy Ministries and held numerous volunteer roles, including leading small groups, coordinating women’s retreats, mentoring high school girls, coaching student ministry leaders, and writing curriculum for church-based youth programs.

Above all, Christy treasures her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She and Jim have four adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and three beloved grandsons who affectionately call her “CiCi.”
